We are proud to announce that our Technical Director, Eng. Francesco Saverio Ciani, has been selected as a speaker at the SFPE Edinburgh Conference on Fire Safety Engineering, which will be held on April 9-10, 2025

In his talk, Eng. Ciani will go into detail on:

• The performance-based approach to fire protection design according to the Fire Prevention Code
• The concept of Higher Availability System (HAS) and its use in sprinkler system
• The integration of active protection systems in CFD simulations (Fire Dynamics Simulator)
• Assessing the reliability of fire protection systems through Fault Tree and Event Tree Analysis 
• The design and regulatory implications of reducing the HRR curve when sprinklers are present
