Forensic Activity

Veryfire has the expertise and resources to guide clients in and out of court in the event of a dispute involving safety, whether a fire suppression system malfunction or a fire. Veryfire employs experienced professionals and advanced equipment to determine the cause of the failure or fire.

Fire investigation is a forensic activity aimed at identifying the causes and responsibilities following a fire. Veryfire employs a multidisciplinary team that combines not only the appropriate technical knowledge but also legal expertise, thus offering a comprehensive service that enhances procedural interaction. With this in mind, Veryfire offers the following services:

– determining the origin and cause using the scientific method (also outlined in NFPA 921) to identify the location and cause of the fire's initiation;

– Damage analysis, thoroughly assessing the damage caused by the fire and providing detailed technical reports. Our team's engineers have many years of experience using computational thermal fluid dynamics (particularly through the use of FDS), which can prove to be an important skill both in an adversarial process and for assessing the dynamics of the accident;

– organizing experimental tests, testing materials and substances involved in the fire to understand their behavior in fire and determine their relevance to the investigation.

Integrating the recommendations of NFPA 921 "Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigation" into the investigations, Veryfire prepares a complete analysis of a potential fire, evaluates the evidence and conducts any in-depth tests.
